Uploading An Image or Scanned File on Wordpress

Hi again! I would like to add images or a scanned file on my post on wordpress. How do I go about pasting a saved file? Is there a particular size? Or do I have the option to resize to my liking? Thanks!

You are going to need to upload the image to Wordpress first.

If you are in edit/post page, you should be able to find a Upload/Insert image icon above the editor box.

You will need to first upload it, and then from the media dialog it allows you to insert images with options of sizes/alignment, etc.
